Cordova, Tennessee is where my husband, Lee, and I call home. Our son, Cody, recently graduated from Mississippi State University (Hail State!), and has gone into business for himself, utilizing his Landscape Architecture degree to the fullest. Thank you Jesus!
Lee and I are also surrogate parents to two beautiful and smart Australian/German Shepherds named, Sophie and Roxie…they round out our sweet family to five.
I have been active over the years in the choir, small group Bible studies, and teaching Sunday School at Hope Presbyterian Church. I lead the “Writers For Hope” Christian Writers small group through our church as well.
I am a graduate of SheSpeaks 2014 and am a current member of COMPEL, a Writer’s website through Proverbs 31 Ministries. I am also a member of Author, Speaker and Blogger, Michael Hyatt’s, Platform University and one of Jeff Goins Tribewriters.
In my free time, you’ll find me reading, singing, playing the guitar, walking the dogs, working out at the gym and yoga…but writing is my passion!
The Fitts boys have a need for speed so when we aren’t boating on Pickwick Lake near the Tennessee River, Lee, Cody and I are racing Go-Carts and attending NASCAR events!
In between working full time and taking care of my home and family, I am avidly seeking certification with The NRWA (National Re’sume’ Writers Association) and look forward to what The Lord has in store for me in the coming years.
I am excited to see how He plans for me to utilize the spiritual gift of creative writing, that He has so graciously given to me; along with the desire to transition from Corporate America into Freelance Writing entrepreneurship at retirement.
