Rush hour traffic desperately tries to drown out creation’s voice
Yet, bird songs joyously rise above the muffled engines
Announcing the sunrise of a new day
The warmth of this majestic wake-up call is serene
Like the ocean waves gently spilling onto the shoreline
I am reminded to “rejoice and be glad in it.”
Thank you, Father, for these precious moments to rest in Your presence
I know these days are answered prayer
How did I get so lucky?
My heart is full
Brimming over with choice wine from your sun-kissed vineyards
I am soaked in a fragrant bouquet of inner peace, joy and contentment
Currents of restoration are gifts, baptizing the senses
Capturing the moments, illuminating the images You have composed on my heart
