Coming out of the fog, a deep state of sleep
Aware of my surroundings now, no longer asleep
The groggy veil has lifted, the focus ever clear
Everything we’ve ever known is not as it appeared

To carry the torch, to be a shining light

To repent of sins to be covered by the Devine
Because the days are short and the time surely near
For The Lord Jesus Christ is soon to appear
To take away the evildoers to banish them one and all
Into the Lake of Fire…the Second Death, they will succumb and fall
Into the pit, the black hole, the abyss, the never ending fate
To all those who rejected Jesus, there will be no escape
Adhere to these words, come out of the fog, move closer to the light
Lay your burden at the feet of Jesus, be prepared if He comes tonight
Don’t let your pride or your unbelief forfeit your eternal rest
This may be the only chance you get to pass the test
Ask for forgiveness, say “God come into my heart”
He’s promised never to forsake you, but you’ve got to do your part
Repent, turn away from the world and the flesh
Accept Jesus as Saviour to be forever refreshed
